GLICO Pensions was incorporated in 2010 and licensed by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) as a corporate trustee to manage and administer occupational pension schemes, provident fund schemes and group personal pension schemes in line with the National Pensions Act, 2008 (Act 766).
GLICO Pensions customizes pension schemes to suit the different needs of the various segments of the working population and currently manages and administers four (4) pension schemes that cater to the pension needs of workers in both the formal and informal sectors. These include GLICO Master Trust Occupational Pension Scheme, GLICO Master Trust Provident Fund Scheme, Ghana Education Service (GES) Occupational Pension Scheme, Teachers' Provident Fund Scheme (TPFS) and Cocoa Abrabopa Pension Scheme.
